Auto Rack Lights
Ensure safe travels
For trunk mounted bike racks:
  • prior to mounting the bike rack and bike(s) on your vehicle, open the trunk and pull the last 6" of the wire harness out.  Close the trunk on the wire harness (this will not hurt or damage the wire harness.
  • mount the bike rack and bike(s) per rack manufacturer's instructions.
  • rest the Bent Bar on the rack projection arms to aid in securing the device to your bike.
  • determine the best strap locations for fixing the Auto Rack Lights product to the outer most bike.
  • size and place the foam bumpers around the tube of the Auto Rack Lights product as needed.
  • remove the protective film from each side of the foam bumper and seal the edges together.
  • make sure the Auto Rack Lights product is securely fastened to the bike.  Auto Rack Lights cannot be held liable for an improperly secured device. 
  • plug the Auto Rack Lights product into your vehicle's wire harness connection.
  • check that the stop, turn and tail lights are functioning.
  • have a safer drive!


For hitch mounted bike racks:
  • mount the bike rack and bike(s) per rack manufacturer's instructions.
  • if possible, rest the Auto Rack Lights product on the outermost bike's upward pedal to aid in securing the device to your bike. 
  • determine the best strap locations for fixing the Auto Rack Lights product to the outer most bike.
  • size and place the foam bumpers around the tube of the Auto Rack Lights product as needed.
  • remove the protective film from each side of the foam bumper and seal the edges together.
  • make sure the Auto Rack Lights product is securely fastened to the bike.  Auto Rack Lights cannot be held liable for an improperly secured device.
  • plug the Auto Rack Lights product into your vehicle's wire harness connection.
  • check that the stop, turn and tail lights are functioning.
  • have a safer drive!
